Deliberate PR is a Notting Hill-based public relations agency that helps Nordic, German, and US startups establish their presence in the UK. We are looking for a graduate or early-career professional to join our team as a Junior Account Executive. This is an opportunity to work across a range of accounts in business, technology, consumer, and news media, supporting innovative companies in areas such as sustainability, animal welfare, security, music, and language learning.

About the role

As part of the team, you will help to deliver effective media campaigns that raise awareness of our clients and their work. You will be involved in research, writing, media relations, and day-to-day account support. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of media strategies
  • Researching and drafting press materials and background documents
  • Monitoring news and industry trends to identify opportunities
  • Building and maintaining media contact lists
  • Supporting senior team members in client communications and reporting
  • Occasionally attending client or media meetings in the UK and Europe

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Ideally experienced in journalism, communications, or PR (this could include internships, student publications, or project work)
  • Interested in news, media, and the startup ecosystem
  • A clear and confident communicator, both in writing and verbally
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
