Job Description
Our client is prestigious high end domestic and commercial landscape business. They now currently have an exciting opportunity to join their multi award-winning company as a Hard Landscape Foreperson.
This is a key role within the Construction division and four business, leading hard landscaping projects to bring design-led plans to life.
The successful candidate will need to be dynamic, organised and highly motivated, with a proven ability to use their own initiative in order to drive projects forward.
They need to have a proven record of accomplishment in deliveringhighend hard landscaping projects in line with exacting specification.
They will also need to be a collaborative team worker, able to lead a hard landscaping team, whilst liaising effectively with other stakeholders such as landscape architects, garden designers, soft landscaping site leads, sub- contractors and clients.
You should be able to read designs, ensuring hard landscape elements are installed correctly.
Working with soft landscaping team to deliver the horticultural aspects of the project
Working with and laying various hard landscape materials-porcelain/natural stone/clay pavers/brickwork
Oversee the installation of complex irrigation systems working in collaboration with specialist firms
Oversee the installation of water features working in collaboration with specialist firms
Installation of surface drainage and formwork
Managing landscaping staff on site
Reporting to the Contracts Manager and Contracts Director with proven ability to deliver on business objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner
Liaising and communicating with all external stakeholders whilst sensitively managing thoserelationships Requirements for the role include, but are not limited to:
Full clean UK driving licence CSCS card Competent in using the appropriate power tools where required
