Business Development Executive – Construction Projects Taffs Well 🕒 Full-Time 📄 Permanent £30,000 + Bonus A brilliant opportunity to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking company delivering high-impact construction and refurbishment projects across the UK. We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive with a background in project-led construction sales. This is your chance to be part of a purpose-led team committed to sustainable, community-focused work across both public and private sectors. The Role As a Business Development Executive, you’ll play a key role in expanding our client base, generating leads, and strategically growing our project pipeline. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure we’re front-of-mind for upcoming tenders and project opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Proactively generate leads using platforms such as Barbour ABI, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and phone outreach * Expand our presence in key regions by leveraging existing client relationships and market presence * Build strong relationships with supply chain managers, estimators, and commercial teams to secure tender opportunities * Track and report on tender intake and enquiry volumes to support sales strategy * Collaborate with the Sales Manager and telemarketing team to meet or exceed enquiry targets * Maintain a structured approach to tracking construction projects across the UK * Issue targeted email campaigns and e-shots to promote our blinds and curtains offering * Work closely with the estimating team to ensure timely tender submissions * Provide weekly activity reports and consistently meet performance targets What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in selling construction services, materials, or project-based products * Background in main contracting or smaller construction firms preferred * Strategic, consultative approach to business development * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a drive to exceed targets * An existing network in architecture, development, or local government is a bonus Why Join Us? * Be part of a dynamic, growing company with a strong social and environmental mission * Work on meaningful projects that make a difference in communities * Enjoy a collaborative, supportive team culture with room for growth Ready to take your construction sales career to the next level?
