Legal & Business Support Assistant – 12-Month FTC
Location: City of London (Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days remote)
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
We are delighted to be working with a leading financial services organisation seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal & Business Support Assistant to join their London-based Legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to support the Legal Managing Director, while also contributing to the wider team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, working closely with senior stakeholders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide seamless diary management, scheduling, and coordination of meetings.
- Attend meetings alongside the MD, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
- Manage document flow, including drafting, distributing, tracking, and compiling key materials.
- Draft initial versions of communications and correspondence.
- Support updates across microsites and internal web content.
- Offer broader administrative and business support to the Legal team as required.
About You
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience).
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive in approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint (experience with MS Dynamics advantageous).
- Collaborative, adaptable, and confident working with senior stakeholders.
