Volunteer Bookkeeper

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles., * Maintain and update financial records

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.

• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare necessary documentation for audits.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.

• Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with colleagues across various departments.

• A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance would be advantageous but not essential.
