Taxbit is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive pipeline generation across outbound channels. This role is critical to our growth as global tax information reporting requirements expand across jurisdictions, products, and customer segments globally. As a BDR, you will be engaging prospective customers and partnering closely with Account Executives to convert interest into pipeline. You will develop a strong understanding of Taxbit’s platform and the evolving regulatory landscape, enabling you to have informed, relevant conversations with leading crypto, fintech, and marketplace companies. This is an ideal role for someone early in their sales career who is highly curious, disciplined, and motivated to learn how to navigate complex organizations and build a foundation for a long‑term career in enterprise sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound prospecting across prioritized segments and accounts globally via email, phone, and social channels
  • Conduct research on target accounts to understand business models, potential tax reporting obligations, and relevant triggers (e.g., new products, geographies, or regulatory changes)
  • Identify key stakeholders across tax, finance, and product teams and initiate multi‑threaded outreach
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to build and progress pipeline, including account prioritization and meeting preparation
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads into sales opportunities through timely and thoughtful engagement
  • Schedule and coordinate qualified meetings and handoffs to Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date activity, pipeline, and account data in Hubspot
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships to follow up on campaigns, events, and partner‑driven leads
  • Continuously refine messaging and outreach strategies based on performance and feedback
  • Develop a strong foundational understanding of Taxbit’s platform and global tax information reporting requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role in enterprise B2B SaaS
  • Background in fintech, crypto, payments, marketplaces, or regulated SaaS highly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in a fast‑paced rapidly evolving market globally
  • High level of curiosity and willingness to learn complex industries and products
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across functions
