cer Financial are working alongside a leading international tax advisory firm with a strong global presence. They are seeking a US Tax - Senior Associate to join their London office, supporting a diverse portfolio of international clients.
Responsibilities
- Review US corporate and partnership tax returns, including associated calculations.
- Prepare complex US corporate and partnership tax returns where required.
- Conduct technical US tax research and provide practical solutions for clients.
- Prepare budgets and support engagement planning.
- Liaise with clients and provide guidance throughout engagements.
- Stay up to date with US tax legislation, technical developments, and relevant technology.
- Develop advisory and leadership skills through client-facing work.
- Mentor and support junior members of the team.
Qualifications
- US CPA, Enrolled Agent, or similar qualification (or be working towards one).
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in US corporate and/or partnership tax compliance.
- Experience gained within a Big 4 or boutique firm serving international clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of US corporate and partnership taxation.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software (CCH Axcess preferred).
- Private Equity Fund experience would be advantageous.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
