Trust Senior to join its established London Trust & Estate team.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists, managing a diverse portfolio of trust and estate clients whilst gaining exposure to both compliance and advisory work.
Working within one of the firm's largest specialist Trust & Estate teams, you'll benefit from excellent mentoring, structured career progression and exposure to a wide variety of complex trust, estate and inheritance tax matters.
The Role You'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of trust and estate clients, working closely with senior members of the team to deliver high-quality compliance services whilst developing your technical advisory expertise.
- Your responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of trusts, estates, private charities and family office clients.
- Preparing Trust Tax Returns and managing HMRC trust reporting requirements.
- Preparing annual Trust Accounts for a wide variety of trust structures.
- Assisting with Estate Accounts and estate administration tax reporting.
- Supporting senior team members on Trust & Estate advisory projects.
- Preparing Inheritance Tax calculations, reporting chargeable events and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Liaising directly with clients, solicitors, investment managers, stockbrokers, HMRC and other professional advisers.
- Assisting with departmental financial administration, including fee preparation and work-in-progress management.
- Building long-term client relationships through excellent communication and proactive client service.
About You
- At least two years' experience within a Trusts & Estates or Private Client Tax environment.
- Experience preparing Trust Tax Returns and Trust Accounts.
- Exposure to Estate Administration and Inheritance Tax compliance.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative approach with strong attention to detail.
- A desire to continue studying towards ATT, CTA, STEP or another relevant professional qualification.
