This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager/Associate Director to join the Transfer Pricing team of a Big 4 firm in any one of the following locations: Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen. Role and Responsibilities
- Working with clients and helping them to manage their transfer pricing risk
- Undertaking transfer pricing planning and pricing implementation
- Involvement and coordination of European and global transfer pricing engagements, working with specialists across our global network
- Supporting companies through all elements of business change and value chain transformation (e.g. transfer of manufacturing to low cost jurisdictions, implementation of centralised or principal structures)
- Preparation and negotiation of Advance Pricing Agreements on behalf of clients
- Assisting clients with tax audits from HMRC and transfer pricing defence strategies
- Preparation of transfer pricing documentation for planning or compliance purposes (including statistical analysis)
The successful candidate will have day‑to‑day responsibility for managing project work and on‑going client relationships, winning and developing work across all aspects of transfer pricing and value chain transformation. In addition, as an Associate Director you would be expected to manage and develop more junior members of the team. Proactively managing a portfolio of clients and projects including all aspects of financial and risk management. Establishing effective working relationships with new clients and the tax relationship teams within the Tax practice. Contributing to the development of personal and team knowledge. Building your own network of contacts through regular attendance at internal and external meetings. Key to this role is its advisory rather than TP documentation based. This firm can offer full or part time working and flexible hours. Would consider a manager looking for senior manager promotion. Unfortunately this client is unable to provide a work visa to overseas applicants.
