Our client is a long-established independent firm of accountants. They seek a tax advisory professional at assistant manager or manager level. The ideal candidate will be ACA, CTA or ICAS qualified,with a good mix of corporate and mixed tax experience as an essential. Strong technical knowledge and the ability to carry out research into complex areas of tax legislation are required, with some experience across a breadth of taxes, ideal but not essential. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Excellent time management skills to meet a variety of strict deadlines is necessary together with line management experience and willingness to mentor more junior team members.
This firm has offices throughout Yorkshire and in Chesterfield, with this role being based from either the York, Leeds or Cleckheaton office, so it’s a chance to get a local role. There is plenty of scope for progression in this practice while also enjoying a good work life balance. Please note, candidates must be based in the UK as our client is unable to provide visas to overseas applicants.
