We are recruiting a Senior Tax Manager to join an in‑house team based in Chester. In this role, you will oversee direct tax compliance and US tax reporting, managing complex European tax operations across a selected number of the Groups EU entities and handling key tax authority relationships.
Supporting global tax initiatives and transfer pricing, local tax compliance (corporate, VAT, WHT, etc), US GAAP tax reporting, as well as tax advisory.
The successful candidate will be an experienced tax professional with a strong background in a multinational corporate tax environment. You will have significant experience in tax compliance and reporting within the UK and at least one other European jurisdiction, together with the ability to manage multiple projects across cross-border and diverse teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Team fit is important, and we are looking for someone who is collaborative, adaptable, and confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
The position is based in Cheshire and offers hybrid working, with 2/3 days per week in the office. Please note that applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and possess relevant practical UK tax experience to be considered.
