Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their Private Client team in London.
Role
This is a private client tax senior manager role with a mix of compliance (complex areas of compliance) and advisory. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex / high net wealth clients, working closely with the Tax Partner. The private client tax team deals with tax compliance for a variety of individuals, families, trusts, partnerships and entrepreneurs. Many of their clients have an international aspect and they often advise on the implications of residence, the new FIG rules and previously domicile. In addition to reviewing and preparing tax returns, this role will include research into complex areas of tax legislation and provision of tax advice on a wide range of areas. You will be directly working on a varied portfolio of clients including high net worth individuals, partnerships, private landlords, non-residents, dealing with compliance and providing ad hoc planning and advisory and supporting partners on other tax matters.
A natural leader, you will also be responsible for mentoring other members of the private client tax team including those studying for professional qualifications and providing them with technical training and support with both technical and client management queries to assist their development.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be CTA qualified and have experience of managing a portfolio of clients, including managing budgets and billing, and providing advisory services. Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for this role.
