A well-positioned and ambitious firm in Central London is seeking a senior private wealth tax professional to join at a defining moment in its growth. With a five-year strategy to build a market-leading private wealth tax offering, this is a rare chance to arrive with influence — shaping the practice, the team, and the client base from the ground up.
The firm has the platform and the appetite; it now needs the right individual to bring the expertise, the relationships, and the drive to make it happen. You will lead the private wealth tax practice end-to-end, advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family offices, and trustees on personal tax planning, estate and succession planning, and complex wealth structuring.
The work carries a strong international dimension — residence and domicile planning, offshore trust structures, cross-border asset holding, and the tax implications of significant wealth events will all sit comfortably within your day-to-day. You will work alongside the firm's wider advisory, corporate, and real estate teams to ensure clients receive fully integrated advice across their personal and business interests.
You will bring an established book of private wealth clients and the commercial instinct to grow it substantially. Building and deepening referral relationships with private banks, family offices, independent wealth managers, and accountancy firms will be central to the role, and you will have the backing of a firm committed to investing in that effort. This is as much a business development mandate as a technical one.
You will recruit and develop a team as the practice scales, setting the tone for technical quality and client relationships that will define the group's standing in the market. You will have a genuine seat at the table on the firm's broader growth strategy, with real influence over how the private wealth practice is resourced, positioned, and developed over the next five years.
You are a highly experienced private wealth tax professional, qualified as a lawyer or holding a recognised tax or accountancy qualification — CTA, ATT, ACCA, or ACA — with a career built advising complex, high-value clients. You may be coming from a law firm, Big Four practice, boutique advisory, or private bank tax team; what matters far more than your background is the depth of your client relationships, the quality of your technical judgement, and your genuine desire to build something.
If you are ready to step into an environment where your contribution will be visible, valued, and rewarded — this is the conversation worth having.
