Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 (Depending on level - Either AM or Manager)

I'm currently working with a leading tax consultancy based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager.

Your new role:

  • Manage relationships with private clients, providing tailored and commercially focused tax advice
  • Deliver proactive planning across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
  • Advise on complex matters including residency, domicile, trusts, and offshore considerations
  • Support clients on transactions such as property, investments, and business disposals from a tax perspective
  • Oversee personal tax compliance, reviewing returns to ensure accuracy and timely submission
  • Handle complex queries arising from compliance work and provide practical solutions
  • Act as the main point of contact for HMRC enquiries, investigations, and disclosures
  • Identify tax risks and ensure clients remain compliant with current legislation
  • Build strong relationships with intermediaries such as financial advisers and legal professionals
  • Spot opportunities to provide additional advisory services and support business development activity
  • Mentor and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard

What you'll need to be successful:

  • ACA, ATT, CTA or ACCA qualified
  • UK private client tax experience
  • Experience working with business owners and HNWIs
  • Personal tax advisory
