Clark Wood are delighted to be working with a progressive, independent accountancy practice in Bolton that is continuing to grow and invest in its tax offering. Due to this ongoing expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to join their established and collaborative team. This is a modern firm with a strong focus on people, relationships, and long-term development. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality personal tax and advisory services while maintaining a supportive culture where individuals are encouraged to grow, contribute ideas, and progress their careers.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for a varied personal tax portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, company directors, partners, and business owners.
- Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns, deal with advisory queries, identify tax planning opportunities, and ensure compliance work is completed accurately and on time.
- Work closely with clients, building trusted relationships, and act as a key point of contact, providing clear and proactive advice.
- Support and mentor junior members of the team as the department continues to develop.
Qualifications
- ATT or CTA qualified or studying, or QBE with relevant experience.
- Background in personal/private client tax within an accountancy practice.
- Strong communication skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
