We are currently handling a Personal Tax Partner role based in either Bristol or Bath. It is an opportunity to play a strategic role in the Private Client Tax team of a high profile mid-sized accountancy firm. The role is client-facing and involves handling ad hoc personal tax advisory work for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and their families. Strong knowledge of Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT) and trusts relating to new and old money clients is important.

Responsibilities:

  • Client-facing personal tax advisory work for high-net-worth individuals and their families.
  • Lead and contribute to team management and development within the Private Client Tax team.
  • Contribute to departmental strategy as a key member of the partnership group.
  • Engage in networking and business development activities to grow client relationships and the client base.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Inheritance Tax (IHT) and trusts as they relate to new and old money clients.
  • Experience in team management and strategic contribution within a tax practice.
  • The opportunity would suit a Director looking to step up to Partnership, or an existing Partner seeking a new challenge.
