An established and highly regarded independent accountancy firm in East Anglia is seeking to appoint a Private Client Tax Partner as part of its continued growth and long‑term succession planning. This opportunity has arisen following senior leadership changes and presents the chance to join a well‑established and collaborative Private Client team with a strong regional reputation. The firm is looking to strengthen its senior leadership group, support future succession, and further expand its Private Client offering across Norfolk and the wider East Anglia region. This is a strategic hire with significant scope to influence the direction and growth of the service line.
Responsibilities
- Take a lead role within the Private Client team, managing and developing a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, families, and trusts.
- Provide advanced technical advice across personal tax planning, including succession planning, estate structuring, and complex advisory matters.
- Build and grow your own client base through proactive business development, networking within the local market, and cultivating long‑term relationships.
- Work collaboratively with fellow Partners to enhance the firm’s Private Client capabilities and contribute to broader strategic initiatives.
- Support and mentor junior team members, driving development and maintaining high standards of technical excellence and client service.
- Play a key role in shaping and evolving the Private Client offering, identifying opportunities for growth across the regional market.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with extensive experience in Private Client Tax within a UK professional services environment.
- Currently operating at Director or Partner level, with a strong track record in personal tax advisory.
- Strong technical expertise across private client matters, including complex tax planning, trusts, and estate advisory.
- Commercially minded, with proven ability to generate business and develop long‑term client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience working within or alongside a Partner group.
