Clark Wood are currently working with one of the North East's most prestigious independent firms of accountants who, as a result of continued growth and success within the business, are looking to recruit an ambitious Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Semi Senior to join their Newcastle team.

As a Personal Tax Assistant / Personal Tax Semi Senior your role will involve working with a wide variety of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.

The ideal candidate may be ATT Part Qualified or Fully Qualified and will have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax work, either from a solely tax focused role or from a mixed accounts and tax position.

Working within this established firm in Newcastle there will be ample scope for career development and you’ll be rewarded with a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of personal tax computations and returns
  • Assisting Senior staff in client management
  • Reviewing tax computations prepared by accounts staff when required
