Our client has been a trusted leader in delivering specialist accounting, tax, royalties and professional advisory services to clients across the music, entertainment, sports, and media industries since 1986. They seek an experienced Associate Tax Director; a role which will be client facing and split between the delivery of personal and corporate tax planning and advisory projects, compliance services and business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advisory work for a significant portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, including tax compliance and planning projects.
- Build trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
- Oversee the tax team members, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.
- Interpret changes to taxation legislation and provide trusted advisory to clients and colleagues.
- Support business development strategies, including preparing proposals, actively seeking out opportunities, and assisting with marketing initiatives.
- Strong client handling, managerial skills and a good detailed up to date working knowledge of corporate taxation matters/issues.
- A growing network and the tenacity to continue to grow your network and help to develop and take on new opportunities.
- A team player who can also work independently and with both more senior and junior team members.
- Establish credibility at all levels, be commercially minded and have a clear perception of client requirements.
- Experience with international tax advice would also be helpful.
To be successful in this role you will be CTA qualified with experience in Corporate and Personal Tax compliance and advisory work. Experience as Corporate and Personal Tax Manager, in a large or medium sized accountancy practice in a specialist tax role will be useful as well as experience with overseas clients.
