Leading Professional services firm in Manchester or Liverpool, offering a salary of £130,000 - £150,000 DOE.

We are currently working with a leading Top 20 Accountancy firm based in the North West who are looking to bring in an experienced VAT Partner. This is a unique role with a large firm that will offer you the opportunity to help build a service line and be heavily involved in the overall strategy of the department.

Your new role:

  • This is a strategic hire for the firm in the North, responsible for building and delivering specialist indirect tax advice across the North.
  • You will be charged with building a team and initially getting involved in business development & technical delivery.
  • The current firm's client base is largely OMBs, and they see a big opportunity to utilise a number of their existing relationships.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or significant experience).
  • Previous experience at either Director or Partner level leading indirect tax teams.
  • Indirect tax compliance & advisory experience.
  • Previous experience & knowledge advising OMBs.
