As a Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the Group’s tax compliance obligations and managing tax cash flows across the business. Reporting to the Head of Tax, the position offers exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, including tax compliance, tax planning, and process and systems improvements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Group’s tax compliance activities, ensuring all filing and payment deadlines are met across the jurisdictions in which the Group operates. The role will also involve preparing tax disclosures for both the UK and consolidated Group accounts.

Working closely with a variety of internal teams, including Finance, Treasury, Legal, and operational and commercial departments, offering exposure across the wider business. It is ideally suited to a newly qualified Tax Senior/Assistant Manager or a new Tax Manager seeking their first move into an in-house industry role.

The position is based in North Manchester and offers hybrid working, with two days per week in the office. Please note that applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and possess relevant practical UK tax experience to be considered.
