About the role
Due to continued growth, our client – a leading services group – is seeking an ambitious Assistant Tax Manager to join their in‑house Group Tax team based in the city centre of Manchester. An excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to step into a broad role working closely with the Head of Tax, gaining real exposure to strategic projects. This role can be offered as either 4 or 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Support corporation tax compliance across all group entities
- Assist with tax accounting and reporting
- Involve in VAT and capital allowances
- Contribute to advisory projects such as property acquisitions and/or disposals
Qualifications
- Seeking a motivated tax professional with experience at Assistant Manager level or above, either in practice or in‑house, and a solid grounding in UK corporation tax compliance work.
