I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm who are looking to expand with a hire into their banking & capital markets team. This team focuses heavily on providing compliance & advisory service to banks, lenders and brokers in a variety of different sectors.

Your new role:
- Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting for banking and capital markets entities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations
- Supporting with audit of tax obligations
- Provide tax advisory support on financing transactions, restructurings, and new business initiatives.
- Assess and manage tax risks, including reviewing complex transactions and maintaining strong tax governance controls
- Partner with finance, legal, treasury, and business teams to deliver tax-efficient solutions and regulatory compliance
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on banking products, investments, and capital structures
- Lead interactions with tax authorities, external advisers, and auditors, supporting enquiries, audits, and tax planning initiatives
What you'll need to be successful:
- Suitable qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT)
- Strong UK corporate tax compliance experience
- Non FS backgrounds considered
