We are working on behalf of a leading firm that is experiencing strong growth across both tax and consulting. As part of this expansion, the firm is seeking an FS Corporate Tax Director to establish and lead its direct tax capability within the Financial Services sector. This is a strategically important hire, offering the opportunity to build a new Financial Services corporate tax offering within an already expanding FS consulting practice.
The role will focus on asset managers and investment management businesses rather than major banks or insurance groups, aligning with the firm's wider growth strategy across transactions and advisory services. The successful individual will be responsible for developing and growing the firm's FS corporate tax offering, working closely with the expanding Financial Services consulting team to deliver a joined‑up advisory service.
You will advise on a range of direct tax matters, including transactional and structuring work, and collaborate with colleagues across other tax disciplines as well as audit and corporate finance. You will also play a key role in business development, contributing new ideas and helping to shape the future direction of the FS tax practice.
You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive practical corporate tax experience, ideally within Financial Services. You will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team, liaising effectively with specialists across the firm.
The firm values innovation, initiative and individuals who are committed to delivering excellent service and making a positive impact for clients, colleagues and the wider community. As the firm continues to grow, there is a clear and realistic pathway to partner for high‑performing individuals.
