A leading independent accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Tax Advisor to join its growing Liverpool team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or qualified tax professional seeking a highly advisory-focused role with exposure to a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial businesses, high-net-worth individuals and complex transactions.

Your new role

Working closely with experienced tax specialists and partners, you will support clients across a broad range of tax matters, with a particular focus on Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs), private client advisory, restructuring projects and transaction-related work.

You will be involved in a varied and interesting workload, including

  • Providing tax advisory services to owner-managed businesses and their shareholders.
  • Advising high-net-worth individuals and families on personal tax planning matters.
  • Supporting on inheritance tax (IHT) and succession planning projects.
  • Assisting with corporate restructures, group reorganisations and business planning initiatives.
  • Working on company sales, acquisitions and other transactional tax assignments.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborating with senior tax professionals on complex advisory projects.
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering commercially focused solutions.

  • Exposure to private client, OMB or mixed tax advisory work.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
