Clark Wood is working with a fast-growing and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a varied and interesting client portfolio, working closely with both private and corporate clients within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
About the Role
The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, landlords, trusts, and corporate clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
- Overseeing clients’ tax compliance affairs and acting as the main day-to-day contact
- Advising on a range of tax matters, including ad hoc advisory projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong experience across both personal and corporate tax
- Exposure to compliance and advisory work
- CTA qualified preferred; ATT qualified or qualified by experience also considered
- Confident managing client relationships and workloads independently
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support junior staff
