I'm currently working with a leading tax consultancy based in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Private Client Tax Manager or Assistant Manager.
Your new role:
- Manage relationships with private clients, providing tailored and commercially focused tax advice
- Deliver proactive planning across income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
- Advise on complex matters including residency, domicile, trusts, and offshore considerations
- Support clients on transactions such as property, investments, and business disposals from a tax perspective
- Oversee personal tax compliance, reviewing returns to ensure accuracy and timely submission
- Handle complex queries arising from compliance work and provide practical solutions
- Act as the main point of contact for HMRC enquiries, investigations, and disclosures
- Identify tax risks and ensure clients remain compliant with current legislation
- Build strong relationships with intermediaries such as financial advisers and legal professionals
- Spot opportunities to provide additional advisory services and support business development activity
- Mentor and review the work of junior team members, supporting their development
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard
What you'll need to be successful:
- ACA, ATT, CTA or ACCA qualified
- UK private client tax experience
- Experience working with business owners and HNWIs
- Personal tax advisory & compliance experience
