Private Client Tax Director
Leeds + Hybrid working
£90,000 - £120,000 + Benefits + Bonus
We are currently working with a leading professional services firm in Leeds who are looking to bring in an experienced Private Client Tax Director.
The firm are a well established accountancy firm with a strong reputation for supporting wealthy individuals across the UK.
Your new role:
- Lead the delivery of UK private client tax advisory and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, trusts, and estates
- Provide strategic advice on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and wealth preservation planning
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, acting as a key adviser on complex tax matters and succession planning
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, supporting growth through networking, referrals, and cross-selling initiatives
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring technical accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Manage and mentor senior managers and wider team members, fostering technical development and high-quality client service
- Liaise with HMRC on enquiries, disclosures, and technical matters, delivering effective resolutions for clients
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, providing proactive advice to clients and internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role you'll need:
- CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA qualified
- Private Client advisory experience
- Experience running a team, WIP management, business development etc
- Also open to a Senior Manager who is looking to take a step up
