Great in-house role for an experienced corporate tax professional. Based in Leeds in a household name business. You will report to the Head of Tax and will manage a team of more junior staff. This is a corporate tax position and the role will include getting involved in a broad range of tax matters, for example, transaction tax support, the R&D process, HMRC enquiries, Transfer Pricing and Financing support, plus providing support on tax compliance matters including tax accounting under IFRS.

Although the tax team sits within the finance function you will have a broad responsibility that stretches beyond finance into the wider business. You will have the opportunity to work with and gain exposure/experience across the whole retail environment helping to build an understanding of the changing tax legislation in order to impact, influence and inform decision making across the Group.
Qualifications
- For this particular role, you will ideally be a proven tax manager or senior manager (2+ years of management experience).
- ACA, ICAS or CTA qualified
- A strong corporate tax background is essential, including experience of preparing corporation tax computations and tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
- Experience of project management and team leadership.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
