The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.
A newly created role with this successful, growing business with an impressive global presence. Reporting into the Head of Tax, and working as part of an established VAT team you will be responsible for managing the end to end VAT compliance processes globally and complying with local and international tax laws.
Specifically this will include:
- Review of the UK group VAT return process
- Managing relationships with external advisors where overseas compliance is outsourced
- Preparing and ongoing audit of the partial exemption special method
- Develop relationships within the business to help ensure VAT is considered and accounted for correctly
- Support systems implementations
- Review key balance sheet reconciliations for the indirect tax accounts
To apply you will need prior experience of managing UK and overseas VAT compliance processes and be comfortable with dealing with large volumes of data. Knowledge of the principles of indirect tax both for the UK and preferably international aspects of UK companies will also be key.
