The Corporate Tax Assistant Manager provides corporate tax advisory services to a varied portfolio of corporate and owner‑managed clients. The role involves managing client relationships and delivering end-to-end advisory engagements, with regular exposure to complex tax planning and ad‑hoc technical projects. Working closely with Partners and Directors, the Assistant Manager supports strategic client matters, contributes to practice initiatives, and proactively identifies advisory and business development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact alongside the Partner or Senior Manager.
  • Lead and support corporate tax advisory projects, including structuring, planning, and HMRC interactions.
  • Take ownership of project delivery, budgets, billing, and cash collection.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and provide technical guidance.
  • Liaise with HMRC on technical and advisory matters.
  • Identify advisory opportunities and communicate technical issues, risks, and growth opportunities to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure work is delivered in line with firm quality and risk management standards.
