This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing and highly regarded Corporate Tax Accounting & Audit team working with a broad portfolio of mid‑market and private capital‑backed businesses across a range of sectors. This is a genuinely varied role offering exposure to both Tax Accounting and Audit of Tax, with the flexibility to tailor the position around your experience and career interests.

The Opportunity

  • You’ll work with ambitious, acquisitive businesses ranging from privately owned groups to PE‑backed organisations, supporting them with complex tax reporting, deferred tax provisioning and tax audits within financial statements.
  • The team advises clients operating in fast‑paced environments where high‑quality, commercially focused delivery is critical.
  • You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of technical tax accounting issues, M&A activity and evolving reporting challenges.

What does the day‑to‑day look like?

  • Preparing and reviewing tax accounting calculations for statutory reporting purposes.
  • Supporting and reviewing audits of tax within financial statements.
  • Advising on complex deferred tax and tax provisioning matters.
  • Managing relationships across a varied client portfolio.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and tax functions.
  • Contributing to technically challenging and commercially driven engagements.

Qualifications

  • Assistant Manager: ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with experience in Corporate Tax, Tax Audit or Financial Audit.
  • Awareness of tax accounting principles with a genuine interest in developing expertise.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Manager: ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with tax accounting experience.
  • Ability to manage client portfolios and oversee delivery.
  • Experience reviewing tax reporting and/or audit of tax work.
  • Commercial mindset with strong organisational skills.
