A growing accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a Personal Tax Assistant Manager with strong employment tax experience to join its tax team. The role combines advisory and compliance work, supporting business owners, property clients, and high-net-worth individuals. It’s well-suited to someone stepping up into an Assistant Manager role or an existing AM looking for a new challenge in a supportive, progression-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Advising clients on employment tax matters, including benefits, rewards, NMW, CIS and (where relevant) international employments
- Supporting businesses on employment tax issues linked to acquisitions and disposals
- Assisting with remuneration planning, including share incentive schemes
- Providing advice across capital taxes (including IHT) and property tax projects
- Getting involved in wider personal and international tax work as your experience grows
- Coaching and developing junior tax team members
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in private client / personal tax, with strong employment tax exposure
- Professionally qualified (or close to qualification)
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
- Enjoys mentoring and developing others
- Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing firm
