The Role:
- Advising clients on the design, implementation and operation of employee share plans and incentive arrangements.
- Providing technical guidance on UK share schemes, including EMI, CSOP, SAYE, LTIPs and growth shares.
- Supporting privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs and listed companies with remuneration and incentive strategy.
- Leading client engagements and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Reviewing complex technical work and providing support to managers and junior team members.
- Identifying business development opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
- Working closely with wider tax teams to deliver joined-up advice on reward, employment tax and corporate transactions.
About You:
- Significant experience specialising in share schemes, incentives or employee reward taxation.
- Strong technical knowledge across UK share plans and incentive arrangements.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading advisory engagements.
- The confidence to operate at a senior level with entrepreneurs, executives and corporate clients.
- A commercial approach with the ability to identify opportunities and support business growth.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
- CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent) is preferred, although relevant specialist experience will also be considered.
