We are looking for an International Tax Assistant Manager who thrives on technical challenges, enjoys developing client relationships, and is passionate about mentoring and leading teams. This is a dynamic role, perfect for someone with proven experience managing complex international and corporate tax projects in multidisciplinary teams. What you'll do day-to-day
- Advise large corporate clients on UK and international tax matters.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships while driving business growth through referrals, networking, and identifying new opportunities.
- Manage client compliance obligations, including corporate tax returns, tax accounting, and reporting requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams and colleagues.
- Collaboratively solve complex tax issues with creativity and strategic insight.
What we're looking for
- Qualified tax professional (e.g., ACA, ATT, CTA, CA, ACCA, or international equivalent) or equivalent work experience, including candidates qualified abroad.
- Proven advisory experience with UK and international corporate tax clients.
- Strong UK corporate tax knowledge, including the ability to review tax computations, tax accounting, and group reporting for accuracy, completeness, and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Solid accounting knowledge and the ability to interpret statutory accounts.
- Experience leading senior stakeholders internally and externally, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships within large teams.
- Business development experience through referrals, networking, and identifying client opportunities.
- Broad understanding of UK and global business issues, with confidence discussing these matters with clients.
