We're working with a leading professional services firm that is investing heavily in its Tax Technology offering and is looking to appoint an

Indirect Tax Technology Manager to help businesses modernise and optimise their VAT compliance processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Indirect Tax professional with a strong interest in technology, automation and process improvement to work with a diverse client portfolio, delivering innovative compliance solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency and reporting.

The Role

Working as part of a growing Tax Technology team, you\'ll help clients enhance their Indirect Tax compliance through the implementation and optimisation of market-leading tax technologies.

You\'ll work closely with tax specialists, technology teams and finance stakeholders to design, implement and improve technology-driven VAT compliance processes.

  • Leading Indirect Tax technology implementation and optimisation projects.
  • Supporting clients with VAT compliance transformation and process automation.
  • Configuring and enhancing tax technology solutions to improve compliance and reporting.
  • Working with ERP systems and finance teams to ensure accurate VAT data flows.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline compliance through automation and digital solutions.
  • Supporting clients with evolving digital tax requirements and technology developments.
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.
  • Coaching and developing junior team members.

About You

  • You\'ll ideally have
  • Strong experience within Indirect Tax, VAT compliance or Tax Technology.
  • Experience working with tax engines or VAT compliance software.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in digital transformation and emerging tax technologies.
