The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a corporate tax professional to join a growing Real Assets Portfolio team at Manager level. The role sits within a broader Deals Tax function and focuses on advising clients on the ongoing tax implications of their real asset investments post transaction. You will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, manage complex UK corporate tax engagements, and work closely with colleagues across tax, deals and international networks. The role combines technical tax work with client relationship management, leadership and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage client relationships across a varied real assets portfolio, acting as a trusted tax adviser
  • Deliver high quality UK corporate tax advice in a post deal and portfolio management context
  • Manage and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary teams, including specialists and international colleagues
  • Identify and convert new work opportunities, supporting business development and proposition building
  • Oversee financial management of engagements, including budgeting, recovery and profitability
  • Contribute to team leadership through coaching, recruitment and capability development
  • Stay up to date with changes in UK tax legislation and support internal technical training

Candidate Profile

  • Professionally qualified in tax or accounting (ACA, ACCA, ATT, CTA, legal qualification or equivalent)
  • Strong UK corporate tax advisory experience (UK or international experience also considered)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Confident relationship builder with both clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a commercial mindset
  • Experience leading, delegating and coaching teams
  • Motivated by continuous learning and developing others
