A leading Big 4 firm is looking to appoint a talented Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing Audit & Accounting Related Tax Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional who enjoys working at the intersection of tax and accounting, supporting a diverse and high-profile client base ranging from fast-growing businesses through to large multinational groups.
The role offers broad exposure to complex tax reporting and audit-related projects, working closely with audit teams, senior tax stakeholders, and clients on a range of technically challenging assignments. You will play a key role in reviewing and advising on tax disclosures, interpreting evolving legislation, and helping clients navigate increasingly complex reporting requirements in a commercially focused way.
Alongside the technical work, this position offers significant client interaction and the chance to build long-term relationships across a varied portfolio. You'll also work within a highly collaborative environment, mentoring junior team members and partnering with colleagues across wider tax and audit teams.
The successful candidate is likely to be ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified with a strong grounding in UK corporate tax and accounting for tax, including deferred tax and financial statement disclosures. The team is particularly interested in individuals who combine strong technical ability with excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
