A great opportunity for an Assistant Manager to join the growing Employment Tax team of a high profile, award-winning accountancy firm. You’ll manage the employment tax affairs for a varied client portfolio across multiple business sectors, and have the opportunity to work with some of the profession’s leading employment tax advisers.
The role will include managing the annual compliance cycle including P11Ds, PSAs, STBV and ERS reporting, as well as identifying advisory opportunities arising on the portfolio. You’ll support your clients with year-end reporting, due diligence and policy reviews. In addition, you’ll assist partners and directors with ad hoc planning projects. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll also get involved with supervising and mentoring junior advisers.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience managing an employment tax compliance portfolio. They’ll be CTA and/or ACA qualified and possess strong technical employment tax knowledge. As this is also very much a client relationship management role, you’ll need strong communication skills. Ideally, the team are looking for someone whom they can support with progression to Manager and Senior Manager grades.
Based in central London, the team operates hybrid working 2-3 days a week. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £50,000 - £60,000 + bens + bonus.
