About Us

We are a fast-growing accountancy and business advisory practice providing support to hundreds of owner-managed businesses across Scotland. Our clients range from start-up companies to established businesses across a wide variety of industries. Unlike many traditional accountancy firms, we believe in developing well-rounded business professionals rather than individuals who only specialise in one area. Our team works closely with business owners, helping them navigate challenges, improve performance, remain compliant, and achieve their goals. As our business continues to grow through both organic expansion and acquisitions, we are looking for ambitious graduates who want to build a long-term career and develop into future leaders within the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is not a typical graduate role. Our Graduate Development Programme has been designed to give successful candidates exposure to every major area of the business over several years. You will work alongside experienced professionals and receive structured training while gaining practical, real-world experience. The objective is to develop individuals who understand how a modern professional services business operates from the ground up.

Throughout the programme, you will gain experience in:

  • Business administration and operations
  • Client onboarding and relationship management
  • Payroll processing and compliance
  • VAT compliance and advisory work
  • Management accounts and bookkeeping
  • Business advisory services
  • Practice management and operational systems
  • Client communication and problem solving

What You'll Learn

During the programme, you will develop:

  • Technical accountancy knowledge
  • Business and commercial awareness
  • Communication and relationship-building skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Leadership and operational management skills
  • Understanding of how successful businesses are built and run

This role provides a unique opportunity to see how hundreds of different businesses operate and learn directly from experienced professionals and business owners.

Who We're Looking For

We are interested in graduates who are ambitious, curious, and eager to learn. You do not need to have experience in every area listed above. We are looking for individuals with the right attitude and potential.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • A degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline
  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A desire to build a long-term career within a growing organisation

Why Join Us?

  • Exposure to multiple areas of business and accountancy
  • Direct mentoring from experienced professionals
  • Genuine career progression opportunities
  • Opportunity to work closely with business owners and entrepreneurs
  • Broad commercial experience rather than narrow specialisation
  • Involvement in a growing and ambitious organisation
  • Support with professional development and training
  • Opportunity to help shape the future growth of the business

We believe in promoting from within wherever possible. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress into specialist, managerial, operational, and leadership positions as their skills and experience develop. For the right individual, this role offers the chance to build a rewarding long‑term career and become an integral part of the future growth of our organisation.
