TaxAssist Accountants Edinburgh East are looking for a Client Services & Onboarding Coordinator to take charge of new client onboarding, help manage prospects, and support our community-focused accountancy practice.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the practice runs smoothly while helping us add more value to over 1,000 clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage new client onboarding: Software setup, agent codes, clearance letters, incorporations, engagement letters and more.
- Handle offboarding: disengagements, professional clearance, company closures.
- Oversee prospect pipeline: packs, follow-ups, lead system management.
- Support seasonal campaigns such as Tax return reminders and client calls.
- Assist with office admin (rota, voicemails, repairs, birthdays and anniversaries).

Details
This role is expected to be around 15 hours per week. There is some flexibility around how these are scheduled; a daily presence would be preferred to keep on top of prospect/client activity, but we are open to discussion.
Our opening hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday and our shops are located in Dalkeith, Easter Road, Fairmilehead and Musselburgh. Depending on the working pattern we agree on, the role may be based across multiple shop locations giving you plenty of variety and the chance to get to know our whole team and a broad range of clients. Once you have spent some time in each you will be able to choose your preferences as most of the team typically work in 2 to 3 offices in each week.
