Tax and Treasury Recruitment are pleased to be assisting a large corporate in Hayes to find a UK VAT compliance manager for their in-house tax team.
This is a UK VAT Manager position, reporting into the VAT lead and with the support of a VAT Accountant (currently in position, and well regarded by the team).
You will be responsible for the monthly VAT returns of 2 UK VAT groups, that collectively have 5 entities. You\’ll also cover all VAT reporting requirements.
Compliance and reporting are tech-enabled processes (Automated/optimised using OneSource/Oracle/Fusion) – You\’ll work on the continual improvement of this.
Whilst the VAT lead will cover strategy and advisory, there will be opportunity for you to collaborate on this – In particular there are a lot of projects that will require additional help.
You can expect
- A salary of £75-85K
- Up to 25% Bonus
- £4K travel allowance
- Up to 20% pension (8% personal, 12% employer)

You will have
- Experience in leading the UK VAT compliance process for a large corporate.
- Experience in line management.
- Ideally you will have tax technology experience (ERP & Automation), but at a minimum, this must be an area that interests you.
