We are representing a global FTSE 100 that offers the stability of an established brand alongside ongoing, active growth. This is a lead position, with responsibility for the group's tax reporting process. As such, this is a highly visible role across finance and tax, with the opportunity to establish yourself within one of the UK's highest performing businesses.
You can expect to:
- Lead all aspects of consolidated IFRS tax accounting and reporting for a complex group.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and present half-year and annual results to senior management.
- Lead the assessment and communication of corporate tax risks, incorporate tax reserves, and forecast cash tax and the Effective Tax Rate.
- Manage and optimise tax technology/ERP implementation.
- Maintain the internal risk management control framework.
- Advise on various areas that have an impact on tax reporting (M&A and corporate restructuring).
- Manage a small team.
About you:
- ACA qualified with a strong background in tax accounting (IFRS) and consolidated reporting.
- You might be a Manager stepping up, or an established Senior Manager.
- Experience gained in a listed business is preferred.
The Package:
- Salary is £100,000 - 110,000 (happy to have conversation if your expectations sit above this within a reasonable margin).
- Bonus is 20% if you hit personal targets, up to 40% if you exceed.
- Pension match up to 10%.
- Private health.
