This is an In-House Tax Manager position with clear progression, open to those with In-House or Practice experience (Top 10/Big 4)
You will operate at group level for a growing large and listed global corporate.
In this position, you will take ownership of group tax reporting and be responsible for overseeing tax compliance in coordination with external advisors. You will also play a key role in supporting tax advisory/strategy and tax audit.
Your primary focus will be corporate tax. VAT is largely managed by the finance team, and employment/payroll taxes sit within HR. However, the tax team maintains oversight and provides support across all tax areas.
As the Head of Tax continues to raise the profile of tax within the business, you will play a key part in supporting this effort through proactive engagement and collaboration with stakeholders across the group.

You can expect

Experience of tax compliance and reporting at a group level
ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications, ideally you\’ll also have CTA (especially if moving from practice for the first time)
Experience dealing with strategic/advisory tax matters
