The Head of Financial Services Reporting will lead and scale Tax Desk’s financial services (FS) reporting business line, with a primary focus on CESOP and adjacent regulatory reporting solutions for payment service providers, banks, and regulated institutions. This is a commercial and operational leadership role, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding partnerships, shaping product direction, and building a high-performing team.
- Own the P&L for the FS reporting division (CESOP and adjacent services)
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for financial services clients
- Establish Tax Desk as a leading provider of multi-jurisdictional reporting for PSPs
- Build and manage senior relationships with key clients (banks, PSPs, EMIs)
- Oversee delivery quality and client satisfaction across all FS reporting engagements
- Develop and scale strategic partnerships (e.g. payment providers, software platforms, consultancies)
- Lead acquisition of new FS clients across Europe and globally
- Represent Tax Desk in industry forums and regulatory discussions
- Shape the evolution of Tax Desk’s FS reporting platform (e.g. CESOP, local reporting regimes)
- Translate regulatory requirements into scalable, technology-enabled solutions
- Identify adjacent opportunities (e.g. transaction reporting, local financial reporting regimes, data services)
Geographic & Service Expansion
- Lead expansion of FS reporting into new jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new reporting regimes (e.g. country-specific financial reporting requirements)
- Recruit key hires across compliance, product, and commercial functions
8+ years in financial services, regulatory reporting, or indirect tax/compliance
Ideally have knowledge of payment services, PSP regulation, and reporting frameworks
Proven track record in building and scaling a business line or product offering
Strong commercial experience (sales, partnerships, revenue ownership)
Understanding of cross-border transaction reporting and regulatory data requirements
Ideally have familiarity with EU regulatory frameworks impacting payment institutions
