About the Role
Tawi Connect is recruiting on behalf of a specialist residential rehabilitation provider for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their established Therapy Team in South East London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting adults aged 18–65 with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and/or a history of substance misuse, helping individuals maximise their independence and quality of life through person-centred rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individual rehabilitation programmes.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support admission, discharge and ongoing rehabilitation planning.
- Recommend equipment and environmental adaptations.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to maximise functional independence.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience managing an independent caseload.
- Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and report writing skills.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working abilities.
- Experience within rehabilitation, community, neuro, mental health or related clinical settings is desirable.
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
