We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a children’s residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Senior or existing Deputy to step into a leadership role within a supportive and well-structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the home
- Lead shifts and oversee staff performance
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and care
- Support care planning, risk assessments and reviews
- Assist with staff supervision, rotas, and training
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations
Requirements:
- Experience within a children’s residential home
- Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Experience in a supervisory / senior / deputy role
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Ability to lead shifts and manage staff
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
