We are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a children’s residential home supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Senior or existing Deputy to step into a leadership role within a supportive and well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead shifts and oversee staff performance
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding and care
  • Support care planning, risk assessments and reviews
  • Assist with staff supervision, rotas, and training
  • Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations

Requirements:

  • Experience within a children’s residential home
  • Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (essential)
  • Experience in a supervisory / senior / deputy role
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Ability to lead shifts and manage staff
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
