Our client is a long-established precision sub-contract machining company based in Yeadon, Leeds, supplying turned and milled components across a range of industries.
We're looking for an apprentice-trained CNC Setter/Operator with 6-8 years' experience to join the team on a permanent basis, replacing an existing team member.
The Role
- Set and operate CNC turning centres from existing programs
- Work to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
- Work alongside the milling section (Fanuc, Haas controls)
- Produce components for sub-contract customers across multiple sectors
What We're Looking For
- Apprentice-trained / time-served engineer
- 6-8 years' Minimum relevant CNC experience
- Strong manual turning background a strong advantage
- Confident setting and operating CNC lathes from existing programs
- Programming experience (Siemens, XYZ ProTrak) a bonus, not essential
- Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Reliable and comfortable working in a sub-contract environment
