They are now looking for a talented Senior IT Engineer to join their team and play a crucial role in delivering expert IT support and project solutions to their clients.
About The Opportunity
This is a Senior IT Consultant role focused on enterprise network design and delivery, including LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, and cloud networking. The position combines hands-on technical leadership, end-to-end project delivery, and client-facing consultancy, working closely with internal engineering teams and clients to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimise enterprise networks (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, routing & switching)
- Lead end-to-end IT infrastructure and network projects: planning, delivery, budgets, and timelines
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into technical solutions, running workshops, and presenting recommendations
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and engineers
- Ensure security, compliance (ISO/Cyber Essentials), and disaster recovery planning
- Participate in on-call support as required
Your Experience and Skills
- Proven network consulting and infrastructure delivery experience in MSP or enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on and design experience across enterprise networking technologies
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall, Azure & AWS networking
- Experience in project management and cross-functional coordination
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients in a consultancy capacity
Desirable Experience
- Experience mentoring or leading technical teams
- Exposure to compliance frameworks and security-led design
- A passion for continuous learning and emerging technologies
